Bio
Hello, my name is Juleah Kaliski (pronounced like Julia just spelt different).
I am a marketing specialist working in aerospace. I have background in graphic design and web development (12 yrs), with 8 years in Marketing and sales. I have always been a big science nerd who did art.
Do to my unconventinal path into STEM I am now a huge advocate for others perusing the same career, especially woman and creatives wanting to work in a science field.
I currently am leading the marketing/creative department for a multi-million dollar start up rocket engine company in the Mountains of Colorado enjoying the thin air and hot fires.
In the past I have run both a graphic design and web development freelance business along with a small apparel business of my own. I have also worked in high end sales in fashion/jewelry.
in my free time I like to play video games and in a past life I use to work with planes.
SPEAKER/ADVOCATE
Juleah has been a panelist at multiple conferences talking about Start Up Culture in Aerospace and Marketing. She has also been a guest on serval podcasts, and radio shows. She has also been a mentor with SGAC, has helped speak in her local chapter of the AIAA, and spoken at several schools. She has also did science communication online to help share info about astronomical events and has participated in a NASA Social.
MARKETING/BRANDING
She is passionate about brand development and how heavily a brand image an impact a growing company. She has experience in brand marketing for B2B and B2C, brand development, vision development, content communication, and ad campaigns. She is able to sit down with a team and draft up a brand image, voice, and marketing plan with a go to market strategy, and month to month campaigns. Marketing is a 50/50 mix of science and creativity with a backbone of being human.
DESING/PRODCUTION
Has a background in graphic design, UX/UI design, web development, website management, event photography, product photography, videography, post production, short and long form video content for different platforms, logo design, social media management, 2D animation, print media, sound design, and audio production.
Juleah loves learning new systems and technics along the way. If she has not yet tried it she is totally game with learning how to.
